Few details have been released but Galesburg Police say that a 33-year-old victim has been transported to OSF St. Francis Medical Center for treatment after a shooting Sunday night.
According to a release from police, at around 8:00 pm officers responded to the 1900 block of Indiana in reference to a gunshot victim.
The unknown male was found outside with a gunshot wound to his chest. Responders from the Fire Department and GHAS arrived and provided medical attention to the victim.
He was taken to Cottage Hospital’s ER before being taken to OSF in Peoria.
