Two individuals were arrested on Saturday in connection with a bank robbery in Warren County.
According to Warren County Sheriff Martin Edwards, a bank robbery occurred Saturday morning, July 31, at the Citizens National Bank in Roseville.
Witness information gave a vehicle description that was provided to law enforcement, leading to the vehicle being stopped in nearby Hancock County by several law enforcement agencies.
Two unknown individuals were taken into custody, according to Edwards, and the vehicle was impounded. No other information about the suspects, the vehicle, or the robbery was released.
Edwards says that the matter is in the hands of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and remains under investigation.
He says the names of the suspects and additional details will be released when they’re available and no one is harmed during the incident.
This is the second time in four years that Citizens National Bank has been robbed. In 2017, it was robbed at gunpoint.
