Matthew S. Hall, 48 of Galesburg, passed away at 5:56 a.m. Sunday, October 24, 2021, at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg.
He was born July 11, 1973, in Peoria, Illinois.
Matt is survived by two sons, Keenan Hall and Jason Hall; one daughter, Alex Hall; one grandchild; and one sister, Shannon Hall Croft.
Matt worked in construction and also as a farmhand. He had lived in Bellevue, Illinois most of his life. He liked playing video games, listening to heavy metal music, reading, drawing, and he enjoyed comic books.
Cremation will be accorded. To celebrate his life and his enjoyment of Halloween, a wiener roast will be held starting at 5 p.m. Sunday, October 31, 2021, at the home of Candace Cook, 509 S. Main St. in Abingdon. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Abingdon Chapel is assisting his family with arrangements.
