The Galesburg Silver Streaks girls basketball team defeated the Springfield Senators 55-32 to wrap up the first weekend of the Galesburg Thanksgiving Shootout. The Streaks were led by Kadynce Lydics’ 16 points. Kiarra Kilgore scored 11, added 8 rebounds, 2 steals and a blocked shot and was our Dave’s Auto Body Crunch Time Player of the Game. Abby Davidson just missed a double-double with 8 points and 11 rebounds. Galesburg hosts the Moline Maroons in the Western Big 6 opener at John Thiel Gym Tuesday night.
