The Galesburg Silver Streaks boys basketball team defeated the United Township Panthers, 59-55. After a hot start by the Streaks, the game turned into a hard fought battle. The Streaks hit a few free throws near the end of the game, which helped them to their second 4-point victory this week.
The Streaks are now 5-1 on the season and 2-1 in conference play.
Brad Bennewitz and Jeremy Pickrel selected Jeremiah Babers as the Dave’s Auto Body Crunch-Time Player of the Game for hitting two clutch free throws to seal the game.
