The Hawthorne Pool is slated for closure in May of 2022. There is a group of Galesburg residents who use the facility that would like to see the city change their mind. The group is Save Hawthorne Pool. Members Vicky Schultz, Bonnie Johnson and Diane Oliver joined Tom Meredith and Tyler Gumm on “Galesburg’s Morning News” to talk about their effort.
