The Galesburg Silver Streaks boys basketball team beat the Bettendorf Bulldogs, 60-56, at the Iowa/Illinois Shootout at Augustana College. With Galesburg’s win, Illinois schools split with Iowa schools at two games a piece, as the Streaks improve their all-time record in the shootout at 10-9.
The Streaks are now 9-1 this season.
Brad Bennewitz and Jeremy Pickrel selected Easton Steck as the Dave’s Auto Body Crunch-Time Player of the Game for his defensive ability against Bettendorf’s best player.
