The Galesburg Silver Streaks girls basketball team defeated the Rock Island Rocks, 51-41, in Western Big 6 Conference action at John Thiel Gym. The Streaks battled all night to pull out an impressive victory in the conference. The Streaks are now 14-4 on the season and at an even .500 in the conference at 3-3.
Tom Meredith and Erik Gibson selected Abby Davidson as the Dave’ s Auto Body Crunch-Time Player of the Game for her performance in the 4th quarter, which netted 9 points and 3 rebounds to add to a 17-point 7- rebound night.
