The Galesburg Silver Streaks girls basketball team took on the Moline Maroons in Western Big 6 action on Thursday (1/13) night. The Streaks outscored the Maroons 20-8 in the fourth quarter en route to a 56-40 win. The Streaks improve to 17-4 on the season and are now 5-3 in the conference.
Kiarra Kilgore led the way with 26 points. Abby Davidson added 11 and 9 rebounds. Abby Lingafelter scored 10 and pulled down 14 rebounds, 10 in the second half, and was the Dave’s Auto Body Crunch-Time Player of the Game. The GHS sophomores went to double-overtime to defeat Moline 58-50. Galesburg will play at Lincoln in the Downstate Classic tomorrow afternoon at 2:30, 2;10 pre-game on WGIL.
