The female, identified as 34-year old Lindsay Colburn of Woodhull told police the male she was with was having a mental episode so she drove him around and eventually ran out of gas. Colburn admitted to having a valid Mercer County Warrant. After officers confirmed the warrant, Colburn was placed under arrest. Officers then searched a purse in Colburn’s possession – who immediately denied ownership of the purse. Police located a baggie with what later field-tested positive for Methamphetamine as well as some used and unused hypodermic needles. Colburn continually denied the purse was hers. She was transported to the Knox County Jail and charged with the warrant, Possession of Meth, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
