Joshua M. Kilpatrick, 46, of Galesburg, died Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg.
Josh was born December 20, 1975, in Galesburg, the son of T. Shannon and Mary (Roberts) Kilpatrick.
Josh is survived by his mother, Mary Lydic of Galesburg; two sons, Kian Kilpatrick of Florida and Kholby Kilpatrick of Galesburg; two daughters, Shannley Kilpatrick and Abigail Kilpatrick both of Galesburg; and the mothers of his children, Nicole Kilpatrick of Florida and Brandy Kilpatrick of Galesburg. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Clarence and Dorothy Roberts of East Galesburg. Josh was preceded in death by his father, Shannon on March 13, 2014, and his sister, Jaymie Kilpatrick on May 30, 2021.
Josh graduated from Abingdon High School and later enlisted in the US Army. He was honorably discharged on September 30, 2001. Josh loved being a realtor and had owned and operated The Bold Group EXP in Galesburg for the past several years. Josh was always there for his new homeowners from helping them move to providing an appliance. He always went above and beyond for others. Josh was most proud of his four children, he adored them all and loved being a father. He was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Galesburg. Josh enjoyed nature and enjoyed fishing as well as guns.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, February 21, 2022, at Calvary Assembly of God Church, Galesburg. Cremation will be accorded the following services.
