Knox County Sheriff’s Deputies and first responders from Oneida-Wataga responded Wednesday morning to a collision between a pickup truck and a ROWVA school bus.
No injuries were reported.
The incident took place on the intersection of Ilinois Route 167 and Knox Road 1240 East.
The bus was headed north on Knox Road 1240 East with 33 students onboard when it struck the truck which was traveling west.
The students were transferred to another bus and taken to school.
The truck was towed from the scene but the bus was able to be driven away.
The bus driver was issued a citation as a result of the crash.
