Carl Sandburg College students Jasmin McDaniel and Josue Bashombe have become very active in the Sandburg and Galesburg community, without being natives. They took the opportunity last week, to be honorary guest pages at the Illinois House of Representatives for 74th district state representative Dan Swanson. Jasmin, Josue and representative Swanson joined Tom Meredith and Tyler Gumm on “Galesburg’s Morning News” to talk about the experience and their futures.
