On Monday, May 23rd, WGIL reported that a 23-year-old Galesburg man is facing numerous charges after leading police in a pursuit back on May 12th that ended with him on the GPD’s pending arrest list for aggravated fleeing and eluding. Saber Seefeldt of Galesburg is now facing even more charges. Police on Tuesday observed the black BMW sedan driven by Seefeldt in the incident on Allens Avenue. When police again attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the BMW sped off reaching speeds over 70 mph near the downtown area and weaving in and out of oncoming traffic in the wrong lane. The pursuit was terminated. Later on Tuesday, the vehicle was located in the 200 block of Allens Avenue but the occupants of the residence refused to speak to officers. The BMW, still displaying the wrong registration, was impounded. Inside the sedan, officers located glass pipes, syringes, three 1ml bottles of Naloxone, a pill bottle containing methamphetamine, and a look-a-like pistol. Seefeldt now faces additional charges including multiple counts of Aggravated Fleeing, Meth Possession, and a slew of traffic violations.
