The Knox County Sheriff’s Department released the names of the two drowning victims who were found in an Altona pond on Saturday.
The deceased were identified as 73-year-old Steve Dennison of Altona and 67-year-old Keith Dennison of Galva.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene around noon Saturday.
Preliminary autopsy results have not shown any indications of foul play, but the case remains under investigation at this time.
Sheriff’s Deputies were assisted at the scene by Copperas Creek Dive Team, Wataga-Oneida Fire Department, and Victoria Fire.
