Judith A. Louck, 73, of Monmouth, IL, passed away at 5:44 pm, Sunday, August 28, 2022 at her home.

She was born December 28, 1948, in Monmouth, Il, the daughter of Francis “Polly” and Irene (Bennett) Martin.  Judy was raised and educated in Monmouth, graduating from Monmouth High School in 1966.

Judy married James Michael “Mike” Louck at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Monmouth on January 25, 1969, and he survives.

Judy worked at Bowman Colwell, Bowman Switzer Shoes, Kellogg Printing, and Dick Blick.

She was a devout Catholic and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Monmouth for 73 years.  She loved watching her grandkids play volleyball, baseball, and basketball.  She enjoyed music, needlepoint, playing cards, and Bingo.  Above all she loved taking care and spending time with her family, going to countless weddings and baby showers, and bringing soup to friends and family when they were sick.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Louck of Monmouth; her children, Mindy (Karl) Youngquist of Monmouth and Mike Louck of Galva, IL; her grandchildren, Kiersten (Mitchell) Grathwohl of St. Louis, MO, Kal Youngquist of Northbrook, IL and MJ Louck of Galva; her siblings, Connie (Ronnie) Miller, Jack (Ginger) Martin both of Monmouth, David Martin of Indiana, Nancy Martin Woodell of Monmouth, Theresa Martin of Nebraska, Paula (Joey) Howe of Monmouth and  Mary Martin Hull, TX; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Richard Martin.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Monmouth, IL. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Monmouth. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm, Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL, with a Rosary Service beginning at 4:30 p.m. Memorials may be given to the Immaculate Conception School Gym Project.
