“Silas The Great House Cat” is a new children’s book by Galesburg residents first time author Janet Pogue Tolle and illustrated by Dusty Scott. It gives the cat’s perspective on life and gaining the courage to step through the door. There will be an open house and book signing at the Great House this Saturday from 1p-3p. The book is also available at Wordsmith Book Shoppe and at Bookshop.org. Janet and Dusty joined Tom Meredith and Tyler Gumm on “Galesburg’s Morning News” to talk about the book and upcoming signing event.
