Joyce Elaine Falline, age 90, of Woodhull, Illinois passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022, at the Hillcrest Home in rural Geneseo, Illinois.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 19, 2022, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Peterson Wallin-Knox-Funeral Home in Woodhull. The funeral service will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Woodhull. Interment will follow at the Woodhull Cemetery. Joyce was born March 3, 1932, in rural Cambridge, Illinois to Carl and Evelyn Johnson Lundell. She graduated from Cambridge High School with the Class of 1950. She married Wayne F. Falline on November 27, 1952, in Cambridge. He passed away on January 31, 2009.

Joyce was a homemaker and was employed at the Alexander Lumber Company in Woodhull until 1982. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Woodhull and enjoyed karaoke, dancing, music, cooking, and baking. She loved her family very much.

The family would like to thank a very special caregiver, Rose Wexell, for the wonderful and loving care she gave to Joyce.

Joyce is survived by two daughters, Jill (Terry) Nelson of Woodhull, IL, Gaye (Steve) Norberg of Alpha, IL; daughter-in-law, Marsha Falline of Lady Lake, FL; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Casey) Adamson of New Windsor, IL, Tad (Melissa) Nelson of Sherrard, IL, Eric (Emily) Norberg of LeClaire, IA, Danny (Olivia) Norberg of Davenport, IA, Brian (Courtney) Norberg of Davenport, IA, Brooke (Matt) Skahill of Canton, GA; nine great-grandchildren. Garrett, Brecken, Duncan, Bailey, Isla, Blake, Monroe, Scotlin, Liddie; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Kicksey; husband, Wayne Falline; son, Scott Falline; and two sisters, Janet Sellers and Shirley Griggs.
