Knox County State’s Attorney sounds off cash-bail elimination bill

Jan. 1 brought about changes in Illinois law with the SAFE-T Act but one of the most controversial parts, the Pre-trial Fairness Act that eliminates cash bail was ruled unconstitutional by a Circuit Court Judge just before the New Year.
