The Galesburg Silver Streaks girls basketball team lost a hard-fought non-conference game on Saturday (1/21) at John Thiel Gym to the Morton Potters, 41-38. The Streaks fell behind the Potters by halftime, but battled back in the 3rd and 4th quarters to tie the game and then got beat by a 3-point buzzer beater. The Streaks are now 19-6 on the season.
For her inspiring play and hitting three 3-pointers back-to-back, Addysen McLaughlin was named the Dave’s Auto Body Crunch Time Player of the Game. She finished the game with 11 points and 2 steals.
