With the hazardous material spill after the train derailment in Ohio, there has bee a lot of questions about preparedness here in Galesburg and Knox County. Knox County Emergency Management Coordinator and Galesburg Fire Chief Randy Hovind and GFD Captain and HAZMAT Team Leader Brock Schmidt joined Tom Meredith and Tyler Gumm on “Galesburg’s Morning News” to talk about potential spills as well as the new Code Red system.
