Tuesday, Feb. 28 – Petite Suite by Piano Chamber Ensemble

Knox College Music Department presents a free, open to the public concert by the Piano Chamber Ensemble, directed by Ashlee Mack at the Kresge Recital Hall on Knox College campus. This winter concert features Claude Debussy’s “Petite Suite” performed by PCE Members Oscar Gardella, Hala Halabi, Deline Liang, K Pham, Lyn Scherer, Amira Siddique, Nanaho Suzuki, and Hannah Tannas. The concert will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Thursday, March 2 – Jazz Ensemble Concert

Silver and Gold Jazz Bands from Galesburg High School will be featured alongside the Knox College Jazz Bands at Thursday Night Jazz. Performed on the third floor ballroom stage inside the Galesburg Community Arts Center, this free and public event will be the perfect opportunity to listen along with friends, enjoy a carryout dinner from a local restaurant, and enjoy libations, offered by GCAC. Music begins at 6 p.m.

Friday, March 3 – Denim & Diamonds

Discovery Depot presents their highly anticipated Denim & Diamonds event, hosted at the children’s museum from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 3. Moms and sons can enjoy a night out with fun games, lively music, crafts and creations, and photo-ops to commemorate the memorable evening. Appetizers are included! Saturday, March 4 – Night of Comedy ft. Reena Calm

The Orpheum Theatre is delighted to bring comedian Reena Calm back to its stage on Saturday, March 4 at 7:30 p.m.  Reena opened for Maria Bamford in the summer of 2022 and she returns headlining with a hilarious lineup of fellow comics, including Leslie Mitchell, Edgar Sandoval, Autumn McGowan, and Jeff Bailey. Sunday, March 5 – It’s time for BURGO!

Let’s play BURGO! Grab your friends and head to Reserve Artisan Ales in Downtown Galesburg every Sunday where you can play Bingo with a ‘Burg twist. Instead of looking for numbers, you’ll hunt for local businesses and places to visit on your board. It’s free to enter with prizes for each of the winners, thanks to the same local businesses on your card. Be sure to come hungry, every week is sponsored by a restaurant or food truck ready to serve you delicious food. This friendly competition runs from 2 to 5 p.m.
