Galesburg Police last Thursday morning responded to F&M Bank on East Main Street for a disturbance. A 74-year-old man had entered the bank and was cursing at employees and customers. Employees told police they were not sure why the regular customer was so upset. The man intentionally spit on one employee and then turned and spit in the face of another female employee. The man was taken into custody and would not answer any police questions. As to what agitated the man, is still unknown. He was transported to the Knox County Jail and charged with two counts of aggravated battery in a public place.
