Just a single incumbent retained one of the four open seats on the Galesburg City Council in the Tuesday consolidated election.
Bradley Hix defeated Champ Coleman to retain his seat in Ward 1.
Evan Miller will represent Ward 3, unseating incumbent Kevin Wallace. Thomas Roberts finished third.
Heather Zeigler Acerra will represent Ward 5, unseating incumbent Jaclyn Smith-Esters.
And Steve Cheesman will represent Ward 7, unseating incumbent Larry Cox.
