Two additional arrests have been made in connection to the ISP murder investigation in Bushnell.

The Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation has announced an update to the Travis Purden murder investigation in Bushnell. On Tuesday, ISP DCI announced the arrests of 18-year-old Davin M. Purden for First Degree Murder; and 17-year-old Nicholas C. Lafary for First Degree Murder both are Class M felonies. Both subjects are from Bushnell, IL. Davin Purden and Nicholas Lafary were issued bonds at their first hearing and remain in custody. State Police also took 37-year-old Patricia J. Purden and a 17-year-old female into custody for Obstructing Justice – a Class 4 felony. Yesterday, Patricia Purden and the female juvenile made their first appearance at the McDonough County Courthouse. Patricia Purden’s bond was set at $75,000, with 10% to apply. The female juvenile will be held with no bond. There was no further information regarding the arrests of the two female subjects. The investigation is still ongoing. Assisting in the investigation is the Bushnell PD, Macomb PD, McDonough County Sheriff’s Department, McDonough County State’s Attorney Office, McDonough County Coroner, and the West Central Illinois Task Force.
