Jack D. Niles, Sr., age 86 of Dover, Tennessee died on Friday, June 16, 2023, at Brookdale Senior Living in Clarksville, Tennessee.
He was born on September 18, 1936, in Savanna, Illinois the son of Floyd and Alvina (Groezinger) Niles. He married Barbara Byrd in 1997. He attended High School and then, College for several years where he received his Engineering Degree.
Surviving are his sons: Floyd Niles of Monmouth, Illinois, Douglas Niles and Mike Niles all of Knoxville, Illinois, and Jack Niles of Galesburg, Illinois; thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother Jerry, and daughter-in-law, Robbi Niles.
He was an Electronic Engineer. He and his twin brother owned and operated Carrol Co. TV for several years, he also taught electronic Engineering. He enjoyed repairing and restoring TVs. He served in the United State Navy from 1954 to 1960.
Private graveside services will be held at the Knoxville Cemetery, Knoxville, Illinois.
