Stop by Prairie Players Civic Theatre for a night of gypsy jazz with John Miller and the Romaniacs on Friday, June 30.
John Miller leads the Romaniacs on guitar and is joined by Andy Crawford on bass, Joe Park on guitar, and Larry Harms on clarinet and soprano sax. The Romaniacs play a “gypsy jazz” style, which is happy and romantic with universal appeal. The Romaniacs’ performance guarantees good times and good feelings.
The performance, which is sponsored by Innkeeper’s Fresh Roasted Coffee, begins at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at prairieplayers.com or at the door. Prairie Players Civic Theatre is located at 160 S. Seminary Street, Galesburg.
John Miller and the Romantics are the first performers in Prairie Players Civic Theatre’s Backstage Jazz Summer Music Series, sponsored by Old National Bank, Galesburg. Upcoming performances include the Nikki Malley Quartet on August 25 and Harry Tonchev Trio on September 29.
