Beardstown woman leads police on chase that ends in Monmouth

A Beardstown woman has been flown to the hospital after leading police on a chase that ended in Monmouth Tuesday morning.

41-year-old Kelly Bradbury is alleged to have taken a vehicle by knife-point in Beardstown.

Bradbury was spotted by Deputies in McDonough County, who pursued her she entered Warren County.

Warren deputies then picked up the chase until Bradbury entered Monmouth, where Monmouth officers deployed a tire deflation device.

Her car stopped in the parking lot of Beck’s gas station and was arrested by Warren County deputies and Monmouth police.

Officers determined that Bradbury sustained self-inflicted wounds and was treated on-scene until GHAS paramedics arrived.

She was flown to Peoria for further treatment.

Warren County Sheriff Martin Edwards says his office is cooperating with Beardstown Police Department as they continue to investigate this matter.
