Illinois State Police on Sunday arrested a 32-year-old Cambridge woman for allegedly bringing contraband into a penal institution.
ISP’s Division of Criminal Investigation was called in by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office Sunday to investigate an employee at the jail.
That employee was Jessica M. Lindquist according to a release from state police.
They say Lindquist was employed as a cook at the jail and was bringing contraband in and distributing to inmates.
She faces a Class 1 felony charge of bringing contraband into a penal institution and a Class 3 charge of official misconduct.
Lindquist was released on a notice to appear.
