Galesburg Police on Saturday morning were dispatched to Iron Spike on East Simmons Street for criminal damage to property report. A window on the front of the building had been shot with what appeared to be a pellet or BB gun. The damage to the window is estimated at around $600 to replace. The business owner told police he has had ongoing issues with a 32-year-old male suspect who has been harassing employees at the restaurant. Back in March, WGIL reported Iron Spike sustained a pair of broken windows and the male suspect was identified. The man could be seen driving by the business numerous times before the incident in March, and employees told GPD the same suspect can still be seen driving by on a regular basis. Galesburg Police were in the process of collecting additional security footage from the area. Additional security cameras are being added to the front of the business as well, and Galesburg Police will have increased patrols in the area.
