The 14th annual Blick Charity Walk held Wednesday at Lake Storey Park is the latest company event that has helped associates raise nearly $70,000 for local and national charitable causes so far this year.
Associates come together with various fundraising events to help make a positive impact on local and national charitable causes. As part of Blick’s commitment to giving back to the community, the company matches employee donations.

The event brings associates together for in-office fundraising events throughout the months of August and September. In addition to in-office events, there have been raffle tickets for gift baskets, local coffee shop drink specials, charity walk t-shirt and sweatshirt sales, PDO raffles and the Blick yard sale.
Blick has raised more than $ 70,000 for charitable causes this year. Each charity will receive approximately $14,000.
Since 2008, Blick Art associates and the company match have raised $658,009.06.
The original charity walk began in 2008 when Blick joined artist Scott Glasier’s cross-country journey to bring awareness to pancreatic cancer. Over the years, Blick’s Galesburg location has continued to host the charity walk annually, benefitting three local and two national charities.
