Mrs. Bonnie J. Cordle, 91, of Henderson, Illinois, passed away at 2:17 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023, at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg.
Bonnie was born March 15, 1932, in Bucklin, Missouri, the daughter of Chester and Florence (Wilson) Cooley. She married Ervin Hary and later married Harris Cordle.
Bonnie is survived by her children, Richard C. Hary of Galesburg, Cheryl (Rick) Main of Crossett, Arkansas, and Florence (Gary) Mackey of Galesburg; her brother, Chester Cooley of Minnesota; her sister, Beatrice Roberts of Knoxville, Illinois; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is preceded by her parents, two sons, Thomas Hary and Ervin Hary, her daughter, Sandra J. Hary, one brother and two sisters.
Bonnie lived in Galesburg most of her life and attended Hitchcock School. She worked 10 years for Admiral/Maytag Corporation. She later worked for Knox College as a custodian for seven years and Kimberly Terrace for five years.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel.
