Galesburg City Council on Monday night will meet, and it will be the first meeting for the new City Manager Eric Hanson.
Hanson has been on the job for the past week.

Aldermen tonight can approve a $36,000 bid to purchase and install playground equipment at Dale Kelley Tot Lot.
Currently there’s a swing set and a slide that are both outdated.
Other improvements have already been made to the park including removing concrete pads, new trees and a fence was installed recently.

Council Monday can also approve a bid to replace a bridge at Bunker Links Municipal Golf Course.
Administration is recommending a $80,000 bid from Sinacola, LLC to replace the wooden bridge on Hole 15.
The prefabricated bridge requires no maintenance and is designed to have a service life of more than 50 years.
