Knox College has announced the 43rd installment of the International Fair – a celebration of diversity and cultural exchange.
According to a press release from the college, this year’s theme is “Retro Renaissance, inviting attendees to take a nostalgic journey through the past while reveling in the beauty of cultural fusion.”
The annual fair has become a tradition on the Knox College campus, showcasing the cultures that contribute to the college’s community. The event brings together students, faculty, and the Galesburg community for a day of festivities and cultural exploration.
Events get underway on Saturday, Feb 3. A Booth Fair gets started on Saturday at noon as organizations showcase their unique offerings with activities that pay tribute to the history of their respective cultures. A Flag Parade steps off at 2:00pm featuring the flags of different nationalities represented at Knox College. The Cultural Showcase is at 3 p.m. featuring performances from various cultures, with a medley of songs, dances, and poetry.
