
Led by individual champion Madisyn Fowler, the Galesburg High School girls bowling team rolled to the team title at the Danville Regional on Saturday.
Galesburg won the team championship at Lincoln Lanes with a score of 4,892, followed by Herscher with 4,483. Abingdon-Avon finished third at 4,439.
A sophomore, Fowler led all individual bowlers with a score of 1,180.
Galesburg, Herscher, Abingdon-Avon and Danville advance their entire teams to the sectional.
Scoring for Galesburg were Fowler, Ashley Yoder (1,009), Alissa Schultz (965), Angelina Spears (884) and Iris Brechbuhler (854).
Scoring for Abingdon-Avon were Emma Larkin (941), Mary Ella Tucker (937), Jenna Barry (928), Ryleigh Wasion (805) and Brenna Jennings.
Galesburg and Abingdon advance to the Joliet Sectional set for Saturday at Town & Country Lanes.
