Early voting is now under way for the Illinois primary. The primary election will be held March 19 in Illinois.
Illinois voters will be voting for president, seats in the Illinois General Assembly and Illinois Supreme Court, congressional districts, and some county offices.
There are three ways to vote within the city of Galesburg:
Early Voting
- Feb. 8-9: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Galesburg Election Office in Galesburg City Hall.
- Feb. 12-24: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday.
- Feb. 25-March 18: 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday.
- March 17: Noon to 5 p.m.
Vote by Mail
- Submit application to th Election Office by March 14. Application is available by calling 309.345-3660 on on the web.
Election Day
- Vote from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. at your precinct assigned poling place.
Knox County voters registered outside the City of Galesburg can vote early at the Knox County Clerk’s office during regular business hours. The office also will be open on certain Saturdays.
The last day to register to vote at your polling place is Feb. 20. The last day to register to vote online is March 3.
