Thursday: Customer Appreciation Day Party at The Vault
Our team at Reserve Artisan Ales thanks you for supporting us! We truly appreciate you choosing to be a loyal customer. To show thanks, we are throwing a party from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 18. Each customer assigned a pour card will be receiving a free pint glass. A FREE ice cream social will be offered from 5-7. [While supplies last] Enjoy music by Sean Kistler. Friday through Sunday: Rock of Ages: Teen Edition
Rock of Ages Teen Edition: A Musical event from the ’80s. Get ready to rock out with the timeless hits of the ’80s in Rock of Ages: Teen Edition! This high-energy musical takes you on a journey back in time with iconic songs from Styx, Journey, Bon Jovi, Pat Benatar, and more, all performed by a talented cast.
Join us for a night of electrifying music, and a story of dreams, love, and rock ‘n’ roll at Galesburg Jr Sr High School in the Hegg Performing Arts Center. April 19 and 20 at 7 p.m., April 21 at 2 p.m. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable experience! Tickets available at the door! $5 for adults $3 for seniors, free for all CUSD#205 staff and students.
Saturday: Earth Day Celebration & Plant Sale
Join us at Cornucopia to celebrate Earth Day! We will be hosting a perennial plant sale and a vermicompost demonstration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 20. Local producer Balm Diggity will be here demoing their lip balms. We’ll have samples and giveaways, along with a lunch special and 4/20 deals on select products.
Saturday: Senior Studios: Earth Month Solar Printing
In celebration of Earth Month we’ll be harnessing the power of the sun to create beautiful artworks with natural materials from the earth! Join us at the Galesburg Community Arts Center from 10 a.m. to noon April 20. FREE for area seniors (62+). Gather with friends—or make new ones—at the Arts Center for studio fun! *A $10 deposit is required for participation, and will be returned upon completion of the class. Saturday: Back to the 80s Dance
Join us for another fun night of dancing to the best hits of the 80’s at the Lake Storey Pavillion. On Saturday, April 20th, Young Dance Inc. will bring the hits and the dance skills to our Back to the 80s Dance. Proceeds from the event will go to the Galesburg Parks and Recreation Department. Young Dance Inc. will also be offering Dance workshops during the afternoon before the social Dance that night. Here is the outline of workshops offered.
- 1 p.m. – Waltz
- 2 p.m. – Rumba
- 3 p.m. – Nightclub
- 4 p.m. – Cha Cha
Doors Open at 6:30 p.m., 7 to 7:30 p.m. – East Coast Swing, 7:30 to 10 p.m. – Social Dance. Tickets can be purchase at links here: Social Dance and Workshop Dance. Costumes are encouraged! Kids 12 and under are FREE. 7pm Lesson and/or Social Dance is $5 per person.
