Clair Leo Underhill Dunn, 67, of Galesburg, died at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Allure of Knox County Nursing Home in Galesburg.
He was born January 26, 1957, in Galesburg, the son of Kenneth LeRoy and Marilyn Lorraine (Baughman) Dunn. Clair was reared and educated in Galesburg. He worked at Maytag for many years, then later worked at Grant Bullis Insurance Agency.
Clair is survived by one daughter, Adrienne Dunn of Chicago, Illinois; one grandson, Brandon; two brothers, Michael and James Dunn, both of Galesburg; three sisters: Linda Smith of Lake Bracken, Margaret Dunn of Michigan, and Peggy Fell of Rio, Illinois; his great nephew and little buddy, Parker; and his dog friend, Sasha. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Eric Dunn; and one brother, Charles Dunn.
Clair was an avid player of pool, enjoyed fishing, and loved to paint. He will be greatly missed.
Cremation has been accorded. Memorial visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2024, at Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory in Galesburg.
