All three Galesburg Fire stations responded to a structure fire at 583 E. Brooks St Saturday afternoon.
Preliminary damage estimates are at $10,000 for damage done to a single family residence, a detached garage and a small unattached shed.
No fire personnel were injured but one individual was transported by Galesburg Hospital Ambulance Service to Saint Mary’s Medical Center where they were treated for smoke inhalation and released.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Galesburg Fire Department and Galesburg Police Department.
