A home in Monmouth is a total loss following an early morning fire Tuesday.
Monmouth Fire Chief Casey Rexroat says it started around 2:05 a.m. at a home on East 11th Avenue near 9th 1/2 Street.
A mobile home, Rexroat says, had heavy fire coming from it, calling in off-duty firefighters and crews from RSP&E.
The home and property inside had significant damage, and Rexroat says the home is a total loss, displacing one person.
The cause is still being investigated, but crews spent nearly two hours on scene.
It’s not believed anyone was hurt.
