Macomb man arrested by Knox County deputies after drugs allegedly ‘intercepted’

The Knox County Sheriffs Department says a Macomb man is jailed here after — as they say — multiple drug packages were intercepted.

Deputies say they arrested a 42-year-old Macomb man Friday after they conducted a search warrant on a home in Macomb.

The man allegedly had a large amount of cannabis and cash on him and in his home at the time.

But deputies say it started Wednesday, when they and Knoxville Police collected multiple drug packages that were heading to McDonough County.

The man is jailed pending a first court appearance on felony charges of Cannabis Trafficking, and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver or Manufacture.
