July’s Galesburg’s Café in the Park is just around the corner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 17! Saturday: Puzzle & Game Swap
Bring in your gently used games and puzzles to swap for some that are new-to-you!
Bring games and puzzles in good condition between July 1 – July 18 to the Galesburg Public Library checkout desk and receive one swap ticket per item. Ticket holders are welcome at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 20 to swap their tickets for “new” games and puzzles. Walk-in swappers are welcome at 11 a.m. while items last, and everything will be free noon and 1 p.m. We will accept items in good condition with original boxes and all pieces.
10 a.m.: Ticketholder Swap
11 a.m.: Walk-in Swap
Noon to 1 p.m.: Everyone welcome and everything is free!
Saturday: Central Illinois Dueling Pianos
The Orpheum is kicking-off their new “Summer FUN-raiser Series” with this amazing event to raise money for The Jewel of Galesburg. Join The Orpheum for drinks, laughter, and your favorite popular songs from the 50’s to today as the Central Illinois Dueling Pianos show hits the stage! Mark your calendars for 7:30 p.m. July 20 and get ready for some FUN!
Performing since 2004 Central Illinois Dueling Pianos has played to over 125,000 people with this LAUGH-a-long, SING-a-long, DRINK-a-long, PARTY-a-long, all request and comedy driven rock ‘n’ roll piano show! Get a group together and come enjoy this FUN night out AND benefit The Orpheum for future programming and preservation at the same time!
