A child in Fulton County who went missing Thursday in a case that spread through regular and social media is now safe.
Canton Police say two year old Chloe Russell was found safe prior to 6:00 p.m., and is expected to be fine, after receiving some medical treatment.
Canton and Illinois State Police, the FBI, and Fulton County Sheriffs Deputies and other agencies lent a hand to what turned out to be a more eleven-hour search for the little girl, using K9’s, drones, and an airplane.
WEEK-TV reports Russell was found inside a home in the 500 block of Custer Place. That’s not far from where she was reported missing.
Police say they’ll release more information about just what happened at a later time.
