Western Illinois University is implementing a new program for people who want to get an advanced degree in a part of agriculture.
The university says in the fall a Master’s Degree will be available through the Engineering Technology program, specifically in Precision Agriculture.
It’s a 30 semester hour program for people with experience in agricultural technology.
The university says there’s a nearly 100 percent job placement rate, and deals a lot in strategic planning and leadership along with a number of other areas.
It says there are careers available after graduation in anything from general business to farm operations and agricultural technology management.
You’ll need a bachelor’s degree in an Engineering-related or Agriculture program with at least 15 hours of technical courses.
