A Knox County judge says there’s probable cause for two people to be tried in connection with a fatal shooting a month and a half ago.

Knox County Court records indicate Judge Chad Long ruled Monday that probable cause exists to try Chase Houlden, Jr, and Gabriel Moore, both 19, on counts including  First-Degree Murder and Aggravated Battery.

Both now have pre-trial conferences scheduled for September 9th.

Galesburg Police were called to a home near South and Pine Streets June 7 for a report of a shooting.

Investigators found Cam’ron Glass, 18, dead inside a home.

Houlden was hospitalized in Peoria for a time before being arrested, while Moore was recently found by U.S. Marshals and local police inside an apartment.

Long ordered the two to continue to remain held in the Knox County Jail.
