A fire broke out at an apartment building in Lewistown for what could have been the second time in less than a week.
Lewistown firefighters were called to the Spoon River Towers apartment complex around 11:45 a.m.
One person was airlifted to a hospital with burn injuries.
Fire Chief John Spotloe says the cause of that fire was accidental in nature.
Two people were displaced after a fire Friday afternoon at the same building that was reportedly contained to one apartment.
Spotloe says that fire, like Monday’s, was also on the sixth floor, but in a different wing. He says misuse of smoking materials caused that fire.
