An Ohio man is in the Knox County Jail after allegedly soliciting a pair of Knox County teens to meet him for sex.
Ryan P. Loveless, 38, from Hilliard, Ohio, was arrested around 9 p.m. Friday and charged with multiple counts, including two counts each for indecent solicitation of a child, traveling to meet a child, grooming and solicitation to meet a child.
Knox County Sheriff’s Office investigators had gained information that Loveless was communicating with 15 and 16 year old minors from Knox County and traveled across state lines to Illinois with the intent to have sex with the minors.
According to a news release from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, investigators learned that Loveless rented a hotel room and instructed the minors to drive to Danville and enter the hotel through a side door.
Once information was gathered, the Knox County States Attorney’s Office produced an arrest warrant for Loveless.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office, Vermillion County Sheriff’s Office and Danville Police Department were able to work together to locate Loveless in the hotel parking lot in Danville where he was taken into custody.
Loveless was taken into custody then transported and booked into the Knox County Jail.
