Thomas Anthony Schubert, 78, of Galesburg, Illinois, died at 5:20 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois.
Thomas was born on September 5, 1946, in Alhambra, California, the son of Frederick and Francis Gertrude (Couch) Schubert. He entered the United States Marine Corp on September 9, 1963, serving in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged on September 8, 1967. Thomas went on to work as a welder for many years in the automotive industry.
