Robin Lynn Lamb, age 67 of Galesburg, Illinois, died on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Generations of Rock Island in Rock Island, Illinois.
She was born on March 29, 1958, in Galesburg, Illinois, daughter of Roy and Charlotte (Brackett) May. She attended and graduated from Knoxville High School, the class of 1976. She married Jimmy Dean Lamb in 1977.
She leaves behind two children: Roy (Jennifer) Lamb of Galesburg, Illinois and Mindy (David) Dains of Galesburg, Illinois; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren: her mother, Charlotte of Knoxville, Illinois; four siblings: Roy May, Jr., of Houston, Texas, Joy Kay (Richard) Morris of Knoxville, Illinois, Mary Underwood of Bay Town, Texas, and Michael (Lucy) May of St. Pedro, California. She was preceded in death by her father, one grandson, Dakota Munson, one brother, Dale May and one sister, Kristine May.
She worked over the years and both Caterpillar in Peoria, Illinois and the former Maytag of Galesburg, Illinois.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 1-3 p.m. at the home of Mindy Dains, 1233 East Berrien Street, Galesburg, Illinois 61401. She will be laid to rest with her father and sister at Oak Lawn Memorials Gardens in Galesburg, Illinois.
