Steven D. Gregg, age 63 of Galesburg, Illinois, passed away peacefully with his daughter by his side on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois.
He was born on October 27, 1961, in Galesburg, Illinois, the son of Geroge and Phyllis (Mason) Gregg. He attended Knoxville Schools.
Surviving is a daughter, Cassidy (Trevor Davis) Underwood of Galesburg, Illinois; two grandchildren: Rosella Cook and Jackson Davis; two sisters: Debbie (Bob) Cramer of Alexis, Illinois and Dorothy (Chris Kleine) Gregg of Galesburg, Illinois; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Joann, one son, Wesley Gregg, and one brother, George Gregg, Jr.
He worked 3rd shift for the Super Pantry then the Circle K gas station on Henderson Street for nearly 40 years. He met a lot of people during his employment, enjoyed visiting with the customers, and never missed a day of work. He also delivered pizza former Shaner’s Pizza, in Galesburg, Illinois. He was a down to earth guy with simple pleasures like watching Hallmark Christmas movies and spending time with his family. He was a man who truly showed unconditional love
Cremation rites will be accorded. Graveside memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the Knoxville Cemetery, Knoxville, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the family.
